Made from styrax benzoin (gum tree resin), Ume’s Monreale incense sticks are the ultimate aid to achieving calm and focus. They have a sweet vanilla undertone and earthy balsam notes that uplift the mind and encourage the circulation of energy. The short sticks have an 18-minute burn time, making them ideal for smaller spaces. Ume specialises in Japanese-style incense made from pure, natural ingredients that are free from perfume, synthetics, filler, bamboo, charcoal and essential oils.
This incense was named after a 12th-century cathedral located in the Sicilian town of Monreale. The basilica is renowned for its combination of Eastern influence and Roman Catholic traditions, which is reflected in the incense sticks’ rich scent.
